Mamamapambo Boutique Hotel Jambiani , Jambiani (Zanzibar)

Staying at this hotel was a real treat – having our own terrasse to chill was wonderful, private with a little garden and patio out front, although the lack of lighting was a minor downside. It was the perfect break away just a few steps away from the ocean.

This hotel is an absolute gem, located right by the beach with private balconies offering stunning ocean views. The rooms are cozy and comfortable, perfect for relaxing. Just keep in mind that without AC, it can get a bit warm at night if there's a power cut. The hotel truly offers a peaceful retreat by the sea.

My stay at this hotel was a delightful experience. The rooms, although very humid due to the windows being covered by insect nets instead of glass, were surprisingly not too busy. The staff and owners were incredibly friendly and approachable, and the room was well furnished with local materials, exuding a lot of taste. My room was very spacious and comfy, boasting a large bathroom and a private terrace with a fantastic view of the beach, palm trees, and ocean. Though the seaweed and sea urchins were a downside, the peaceful ambiance allowed for ultimate relaxation.

The hotel offers spacious rooms with mid-luxury amenities and a somewhat private deck but with some privacy issues. The service is good with some room for improvement in certain aspects. The location is beautiful right on the beach but lacking in advertised attractions. The dining experience is excellent with a variety of delicious options. Overall, a good value for the money if looking for an exotic stay.
